Pittsburgh East Knitting Guild promotes hand knitting within the greater Pittsburgh community by offering a monthly meeting place, in the eastern suburbs, for all knitters from beginning to advanced levels.  We offer programs to enhance skill levels and a supportive environment for knitters.

Non-members are welcome to attend as guests.

Our guild meets on a monthly basis for a program presentation and socializing.  Past programs have included learning new techniques as well as brushing up on old ones, presented by current members and visiting speakers.  Programs have also included presentations by designers, yarn producers, and traveling trunk shows.

The guild has also sponsored workshops by nationally know teachers.
